Representing a fish, the Matsya mudra is the seventeenth of the twenty-four joint-hand mudras. It is known as the first incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Application

Can be used by performing artists to denote a fish. When the thumbs are moved in circles, the movement of swimming is expressed.
