A toda is the combination of bols in any taal. The three types of todas are:
- the sada (simple) toda
- the chakardar toda
- the kavita (poem) toda
Neither the sada nor chakardar todas use facial expressions, but mostly body language. In the kavita toda, the emphasis is on facial expression, with little force or body movement.
