Teentaal or tritaal is one of the most common taals in dance and music.

Structure

There are four vibhags in teentaal, with four matras in each vibhag. Teentaal has three talis and one khali. Tali comes on the first, second, and fourth vibhag (or the first, fifth, and 13th matra), while khali comes on the third vibhag (or the ninth matra).
