A '''toda''' is the combination of [[bols]] in any [[taal]]. The three types of todas are:
* the [[Sada Toda|sada (simple) toda]]* the [[Chakardar Toda|chakardar toda]]* the [[Kavita Toda|kavita (poem) toda]]
Neither the sada nor chakardar todas use facial expressions, but mostly body language. In the kavita toda, the emphasis is on facial expression, with little force or body movement.
