U.S. Marine Corps Performance

Nepal Dance School was honored to be asked to present a program of Himalayan Dance and Lore at the Quantico Marine Corps Base in April as part of the celebration of diversity in Asian culture.  NDS was awarded with a certificate of appreciation stating, “Your presence and performance here today has offered both insight and inspiration into the Asian culture.  Your vibrant music and dance serve as snapshots, highlighting the diverse, rich and intricate customs that have influenced Asia for centuries.  By sharing this experience with us, you have deepened our appreciation for the strength, honor, beauty and wisdom woven into the fabrics of Asian culture.”

Our heartfelt thanks go to Colonel D.J. Choike, Commander, and Gunnery Sgt. Albert Granillo, for their invitation and planning, all of which led to a wonderful event.  To learn more about the event, check out the April edition of the Quantico Sentry.
